Acid Cam is a application that manipulates input from your Web Cam or iSight and produces original
output based on that data. You can save a snapshot image of whats currently being rendered, or use the new Record
feature, to record video. While recording the program will slow down dramatically, however when the video is viewed
it will play back at the desired frame rate/speed (See preferences). Each effect is different however some of them
are related. Simply select one from the list,press Record/Snapshot to take images / video. The custom Effect allows
you to use multiple effects one after another. To use select a effect in the combo box, then press the Add button.
To remove it high light it and press remove. Add multiple effect in different orders to produce different results.
Also to set the Translation speed/Second Pass use the Preferences Dialog (found in the menu). Second pass means
after the effect it goes through the image and blends the new pixel, with the original pixel.

Note
While recording the program will slow down dramatically, however when the video is
viewed it will play back at the correct frame rate/speed. (Set the desired frame
rate in the Preferences window.)
About the Effects
The effects involving images, distort the view based off a still image.
The other effects, are just patterns of change to distort the data.
